Cyndi Lauper and her husband, actor David Thornton, obviously have a lot in common – they both fell sound asleep on the beach in St Tropez after a hard day of shopping. They’ve been married since 1991 and have a 19 year old son Declyn. Pop star Cyndi has a whole new career as a Broadway composer since Kinky Boots was such a hit.

Cyndi Lauper’s appearance on “Celebrity Apprentice” apparently endeared her to the public, so she could do no wrong while performing in the showroom at the Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Palm Springs. She belted out Grace Slick’s monster hit White Rabbit (Go Ask Alice) to a mature crowd that remembered it from the first time around. Cyndi couldn’t recall the words so she read the lyrics from a cheat sheet with large lettering that she held in her hand. The crowd sang along (they DID know the words) and cheered her on.

Celebrity Apprentice is in full swing and we caught contestants Cyndi Lauper and Sharon Osbourne working at Burger Heaven in NYC. Cyndi looks like just the kind of waitress we’d love to have, and Sharon is dressed more like a hostess. Hopefully, Cyndi got enough tips to win the challenge.
