Apparently there were a lot of prying eyes on the beach in Miami where Alex Pettyfer and his good looking friend stopped to catch some rays. When he stood up to leave, the Magic Mike star realized he was the center of attention so he wrapped a towel around his head. Of course that didn’t stop the paparazzi.

Alex Pettyfer is flirting with a fan at Universal Studios where he appeared on Extra promoting “Endless Love” but he’s kind of beating a dead horse. (By the way, this movie does NOT take place on a desert island.) He plays a high school boy in the movie and looks way too mature for the part. Of course, that’s not saying he isn’t appealing – he’s really the only reason to watch the movie. It’s about “first love” with all the parental and economic clichés. But Alex does make it extremely watchable …..

This movie looks like fun. And the fact that it’s directed by the perfectly respectable Steven Soderbergh gives it even more potential. It’s not exactly painful to imagine Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello as male strippers. We always got a kick out of the original Chippendales dancers (from a safe distance) so Magic Mike might be better than it sounds.
Women in the Presley family tend to marry young – Priscilla was 22 when she married Elvis, their daughter Lisa Marie wed Danny Keough at 20, and now their daughter Riley Keough is 22 and engaged, according to US. Riley met her new fiancee Alex Pettyfer six months ago when they costarred in “Magic Mike.” British actor Pettyfer was previously a Burberry model and Riley started her career in modeling as well. Since Riley was raised a Scientologist and attended Scientology “school,” we wonder if they will wed at the Scientology Center. Does Alex know what he’s getting into? Or has Riley, hopefully, drifted from the cult…
