Longtime readers know that I am not a fan of facial hair on men. An attractive man makes himself LESS good looking by covering his assets with a beard. That makes him less of a competitive threat to not-so-handsome men. This photo of Brad Pitt clearly illustrates what gnarly facial hair does to a nice face. Would you look twice at this guy if he were walking down the street? In Brad’s case, he might appreciate not being looked at, but why would a non-movie star guy prefer to be ignored? Why are SO many men hiding behind hairy faces? They all look alike. Clean shaven men have become a rare and beautiful prize!

He does not look good, in the face and eyes. Either he’s got serious jet lag or he’s using something, or he’s going through a hard time. But he does not look happy and healthy at all in that pic. The beard ain’t helping but even without it, something is off.
