We all loved Sigourney Weaver when she became the first female action hero starring in the Alien films back in the 80’s. Oscar-wise, the elegant six foot actress was the first person to be nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for two different movies in one year – so she’s had an admirable career. Fashion is apparently not her thing- because she turned up at the Oscars this year looking bland compared to others. Sure, it’s a Valentino design, but it is shapeless and drab, and not the least bit flattering. She deserves better…

She’s in her 70’s, so maybe she just feels her body is in a certain shape now. I have friends who just stop wearing certain clothes in their 50’s because they just don’t feel confident about the way their arms or knees, etc… look. At least there is texture and contrast to the dress. But, yeah, if maybe it could have had a low back opening for a little something extra, that would have been nice. I definitely wouldn’t say “Worsed dressed”
