Way back on December 11, 2025, in our weekly Here’s What We Know, we exclusively revealed that Luigi Mangione was secretly negotiating a plea deal and that it was highly unlikely the case would ever go to trial. This was a very inside scoop and obviously one that took a great deal of time to come to fruition. Well , guess what. WE TOLD YA SO! TMZ “exclusively” reported on August 12 ( 8 months AFTER we did) that Luigi and his powerful legal team are negotiating a plea deal. Yup, it was an exclusive scoop – just not to TMZ , but to us!
