We tuned in to Saturday Night Live a few minutes late and were surprised to see Tom Hanks hosting and looking quite bald. Shocking – was this an after-effect of coronavirus? Apparently he explained early on that he shaved his head for a role – presumably Col Tom Parker in the Elvis movie. But it got us to thinking: Imagine this pandemic if coronavirus DID cause hair to fall out! Certainly everyone would take it A WHOLE LOT more seriously! Young people would NOT be jogging or sunning on the beach – they would be the first ones isolating at home wearing masks! Simon Cowell would NOT be riding his bike! People would stay TEN feet away from each other and rarely leave the house. Aren’t we lucky that baldness is NOT caused by the virus!

Tom Hanks us entitled AND boring – very boring… zzzzzz….
Do you really believe that’s Tom Hank’s kitchen? That tiny, nondescript little space? You mean to tell me an A list, Oscar winning movie star lives in a house with THAT kitchen? Why are there shelves and shelves of Corona typewriters in a kitchen? Why is a photo in the background of a man with his hand over the mouth of a child? Why is there an old fashioned pencil sharpener in a kitchen? A bit of online snooping reveals that in the past couple of years Hanks owned 3 homes in LA, sold 2 of them, and now, only owns one – and it’s palatial, folks. This kitchen is NOT in that house. I don’t know where Hanks in sheltering right now, but is sure as heck isn’t in that opulent mansion the LA County fiscal office says he lives in!
