Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently sent their nearest and dearest “save the date” cards announcing their July 3 wedding in New York City – but some insiders are questioning whether the entire thing is a ruse. According to my source, while the date of the wedding is seemingly correct, the NYC wedding in the dead of summer seems unlikely. Not only is NYC very humid in July, but it’s pretty much considered social suicide to spend the July 4th holiday weekend in the city, since most of the elite travel to the Hamptons, while middle class types visit the beaches in New Jersey. My source suspects that Taylor purposely leaked the save the date card to the press to confuse them, but at this point only time will tell.
