WILL NOW-SINGLE ANDREW SHUE RETURN TO MELROSE PLACE?

Andrew Shue could use some good news and he might have just gotten some. EVERYONE knows Andrew is nursing a broken heart over his split from his wife, GMA host, Amy Robach. They were barely separated when she immediately rebounded with her co-anchor T.J. Holmes. His marriage may be over, but Andrew’s career might be getting a huge boost – he’s been tapped to lead the return of his hit 1990’s series, Melrose Place. The show had a short lived reboot in 2009 without the original cast, but this time around producers want to bring back as many of the ORIGINAL stars as possible, including Andrew and Heather Locklear among others. This could be the best thing to keep Andrew’s mind off of his romance woes.

DIANE KRUGER KNOWS THE SOFTER SIDE OF NORMAN REEDUS

Diane Kruger’s relationship with Norman Reedus has always been fascinating – he looks like a rough-around-the-edges biker at best, and former model Diane seems so much more refined and fashionable. But they fell in love when they costarred in the movie Sky in 2015 and now they have a baby daughter. Appropriately, Norman, who stars on The Walking Dead, also has a motorcycle travel series called Ride with Norman Reedus. He looked a bit out of place today shopping in the exclusive Melrose Place neighborhood with Diane, but apparently opposites DO attract – she describes Norman as “gentle.”

SHOULD AMY LOCANE HAVE GOTTEN MORE PRISON TIME?

Beautiful blonde Amy Locane appeared on the first season of Melrose Place in 1992 and her future seemed unlimited. But after a few movie (Cry Baby) and TV appearances, her career fizzled, and in 2008 she settled down in her home state, New Jersey, with a local businessman and volunteer fireman, Mark Bovenizer. They had two daughters and Amy was out of the limelight until 2010 when she had a horrible accident. Amy slammed her car into the passenger side of a vehicle turning into a driveway. She killed a woman and injured the woman’s husband. She was arrested for driving under the influence and could have gotten ten years in jail. The judge just sentenced her to three years, citing that her absence was a hardship for her young children, one of whom is mentally disabled. The victim’s family was distraught. How do you feel about the judge’s decision? (Above, Amy now and then)

AVA SAMBORA IS TOTALLY HAPPY ABOUT MOM HEATHER LOCKLEAR’S ENGAGEMENT

Heather Locklear doesn’t have to worry about her teenage daughter resenting the fact that her mother is getting married again. Heather says her daughter Ava, 14, was very excited to hear about her engagement to Jack Wagner and couldn’t wait to see her ring. This will be Heather’s third marriage – first came Tommy Lee, then Ava’s father Richie Sambora. Wagner was Heather’s romantic costar on the original Melrose Place and they’ve been together for the past four years. Ava has been doing some modeling and she landed a role in an upcoming Judd Apatow movie.

MELROSE PLACE’S ORIGINAL HUNK GRANT SHOW HITS THE GAY BARS

West Hollywood gays were fascinated to see Grant Show from the original Melrose Place, bar-hopping in Boy’s Town. “He was alone with a gaggle of gay friends, acting single and hugging his buddies” an eyewitness reported. “He started out at the Saint Felix and then he went to the Mother Lode where he played video games with a blonde surfer type guy who looked like a male Heather Locklear.” Naturally, Grant was the talk of the town – especially since he is divorcing his wife. Who knows? Of course, the blonde guy might simply be his assistant.

HEATHER LOCKLEAR TAKES BAD PHOTOS TOO

We were startled by this unflattering photo (left) just taken of Heather Locklear – ESPECIALLY when compared to the one on the right from March. No, we don’t think she aged overnight – everybody takes a bad photo now and then. Heather, 48, always bounces back. The past few years have been difficult for the Melrose Place actress – she’s had depression and substance abuse problems and she’s checked herself into rehab several times – the last session completed July 3. But Hollywood loves her and she’ll always have opportunities.

EVEN HEATHER LOCKLEAR’S NEW CLEAVAGE ISN’T HELPING MELROSE PLACE

It was a lot to hope for, but Heather Locklear and her new cleavage – (which does not thrill us) have not boosted the ratings on “Melrose Place” and things on the set are not going well. Insiders complained to The Enquirer that Heather is difficult to work with and missed several days due to illness that cost the show $600,000 because they had arranged to shoot at expensive locations. This is out of character for her – Heather has always been sweet and generous in the past, and we wonder if her earlier problems with prescription drugs are returning.

HEATHER LOCKLEAR’S BACK ON MELROSE PLACE, AND SHE MEANS BUSINESS

Heather Locklear showed up for work today on the set of Melrose Place, looking more than ready to crank up the bitch factor on the series. (Ironically, in real life, Heather is as far from a bitch as one can get.) She’s reprising her role as the conniving Amanda Woodard, but we won’t know until November 17 exactly how she fits into the show plot-wise. Hopefully, all the substance abuse problems she wrestled with in 2008 are history. Heather’s always happiest when she’s working.
