Hilary Swank

HILARY SWANK IS TOO BUSY TO THINK ABOUT ALASKA DAILY

Hilary Swank threw herself into her first ABC TV series, Alaska Daily – she played a scandalized a New York reporter who took a job at an Alaska newspaper to redeem herself. After 11 episodes it was just cancelled, but she can’t be TOO devastated. Actually it was good timing. That’s because she gave birth to twins last month! Hilary waited until her 40’s to have her first child because she wanted to “find the right guy” – her husband Philip Schneider. Now she’s thrilled to have a boy and a girl and she has the time she needs to spend with them.

HILARY SWANK: NO LONGER MISSING IN ACTION

It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Hilary Swank, 48, and today she popped up to promote her new series, Alaska Daily, and she was full of good news. Apparently she took a break from Hollywood in 2017 to care for her father who had a lung transplant. He died in 2021, but during her time off, Hilary not only got married, but became pregnant with twins. (She always talked about wanting kids) She very quietly married Philip Schneider (not sure what he does for a living) in a secretive wedding in 2019 in Carmel, Cal. We didn’t even know she was DATING anyone! It’s not surprising that she’s in a great mood promoting her new drama series – she plays a culture-shocked investigative journalist who moves from New York to Alaska. Nice to see her so happy…

HILARY SWANK’S MISSION STATEMENT FASHION COLLECTION IS FOR DETERMINED WOMEN

Two-time Oscar-winner Hilary Swank, 42, is a proponent of positive thinking and healthy living and now she has a new clothing brand that reflects her ideas. Above, she’s in New York promoting her Mission Statement collection – just about everything is black, athletic, outdoorsy, highly functional, and made in Italy. It’s currently available online. Not a bad start.

THE HOMESMAN: HILARY SWANK IS SPECTACULAR AS AN INTREPID AND TRAGIC PIONEER WOMAN

Hilary Swank did it again. She created another unforgettable character in “The Homesman.” Mary Bee Cuddy is a hard working successful pioneer woman in Nebraska territory with all the necessary determination and perseverance, but without the equally necessary husband. The men in her town respect her, but consider her to be homely and bossy. She’s 31 and can’t find a husband to save her life. This highly ethical woman volunteers to escort three mentally unstable women back to an institution in Iowa. Her cross country trek with not-so-ethical Tommy Lee Jones’ character is astonishing. There are moments of true horror and humor too. And there was nothing funny about being a pioneer woman.

HILARY SWANK GOT A MILLION DOLLAR BOYFRIEND

Hilary Swank, 38, broke up with her agent boyfriend John Campisi this summer and she already has a new love interest. In fact, she’s been staying at the Paris apartment of Laurent Fleury, a successful French real estate broker. The couple recently returned to Los Angeles while Hilary films her new movie “You’re Not You” about a woman with Lou Gehrig’s disease – and we hope it’s not as depressing as it sounds. SACHA BARON COHEN’S DICTATOR WILL ATTEND THE OSCARS – WITHOUT HILARY SWANK!

Oscars producer Brian Grazer doesn’t want to look like an old fuddy duddy with no sense of humor, so he changed his mind about allowing Sacha Baron Cohen to walk the red carpet as his character from “The Dictator.” Cohen is thoroughly enjoying all this publicity but when he was banned earlier he made a hilarious remark: Speaking as his character Admiral General Aladeen, he blasted the Academy and complained “On top of this I paid Hilary Swank two million dollars to be my date and she will not refund a penny!” He was, of course, referring to Hilary’s appalling decision to attend a genuine bloodthirsty dictator’s birthday party not long ago for a huge payday. Something to look forward to on the red carpet!

HILARY SWANK: TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS!

This Hilary Swank scandal is leaving a bad taste in our mouths for many reasons. As you know, she is under fire for accepting a bundle of money to participate in the birthday celebration of bloodthirsty tyrant Ramzan Kadyrov, the President of Chechnya. Granted, resisting the generous hospitality of Russian billionaires is not easy, but this guy is rotten to the core. Keep in mind, Seal and Jean Claude Van Damme enjoyed the same circumstances as Hilary and THEY should be every bit as ashamed. If Hilary HAD researched Kadyrov, as she claimed, she would know that kidnapping, torture, and murder are his specialties, and that includes killing female journalists who write about him. Kadyrov is a Muslim with contempt for women, who believes that “women are the property of their husbands” and he approves of “honor killings.” What’s more, he forces the women of his country to wear SCARVES. That makes Hilary’s support of Kadyrov a crime against women’s rights. What’s most disappointing is the fact that Hilary parted with her management team rather than take responsibility for her own actions.

HILARY SWANK AS YOU MAY NOT HAVE SEEN HER BEFORE

Since Hilary Swank rarely plays a pretty girl in her movies, many people assume she’s short-changed in the looks department. The “Conviction” star is very plausible playing “average” women – maybe that’s why her characters are so believable. But she’s not really all that “average” as you can see by these rare lingerie pin-ups of Hilary.

SEE “CONVICTION” BEFORE YOU HEAR ANOTHER WORD ABOUT IT

If you have even an inkling that you might want to see “Conviction” with Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell, and Juliette Lewis, do NOT watch any TV shows discussing the movie or read reviews. The LESS you know about it, the better. There are certain plot surprises and subtleties that have been revealed as the movie is publicized, and it’s a shame! All you need to know is that the story is true and fascinating and the actors are well chosen. We were lucky to see the movie before we knew anything about it and it was captivating and surprising.
