Behind very closed doors the suits at HBO are brainstorming for a way to bring back Sex & the City and its spinoff, And Just Like That in some capacity to finish storylines and appease fans. My well placed source blabs that the cast really doesn’t want to commit to the grind of a series, so now the current plan is a 90 minute movie/ special episode. Executives are determined to persuade Kim Cattrall to return for the production, and have offered her a favored nation deal (an industry term that means no one will have a higher salary than she does). If agreement can be reached, the hope is to start filming before the end of the year, and release the production on Valentine’s Day 2027.
