CHANNING TATUM AND JENNA DEWAN AND THE FIGHTING PREMIER

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have been a couple since they met while filming “Step Up” in 2006. It’s nice to see longevity in Hollywood and Jenna is flashing a huge diamond engagement ring. We’d frankly rather see Channing dance than fight, but we dragged ourselves to a screening of his new movie “Fighting” and were pleasantly surprised. The plot is predictable, but Channing is an eyeful in his wifebeater, and he and Terrence Howard are fun to watch. (The fights aren’t overly graphic so girls won’t hate it.) The expansive scenes of New York are mesmerizing and the soundtrack is slammin’. Give it a look.

Adrian Grenier is quick to give us advice on how to save power and conserve resources on his show “Alter Eco” on the Planet Green channel, but maybe he needs to take his own advice. Last weekend he was partying at the 5 gum House of Hype party at the Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs. Many of the partygoers planned to drive to Coachella, which is an hour away by Prius, that evening. When Adrian learned that VIP’s were being offered private helicopter rides to Coachella, he passed on driving with a car full of friends, and flew instead. Not exactly a green decision.

We’ve been watching Janet Jackson’s weight fluctuations through the years and it’s clear that she lets herself go between concert tours and eats everything in sight, and then she slams on the brakes and starves herself to get in shape again. No matter HOW MANY pounds she packs on, they seem to fall off and her abs are right back in line. Well, We’ve learned her secret: Human Growth Hormones. The same controversial supplement that Sylvester Stallone takes. HGH injections are said to slow aging, decrease fat, and boost stamina. Users are advised to take periodic breaks from the drug but they feel so good it’s hard to stop. The main drawback, besides the high price, is that the long term effects of HGH are not known.

PAPER OR PLASTIC, MR MCCARTNEY?

Bristol Farms market, but we still get a thrill at the idea of BEATLE, Paul McCartney, shopping where we do. He and his girlfriend Nancy Shevell and Paul’s daughter Beatrice nonchalantly picked up a few things at the store. It’s nice to see Paul spending time with his beloved Beatrice – knowing his ex-wife, it’s probably costing him dearly.

Lorenzo Lamas in the company of his three adorable daughters Alexandra, Victoria, and Isabella, we wonder when they are going to start taking after their mother, Playmate Shauna Sand. Since the girls live full time with Shauna, who is best known for her scanty attire, plastic surgery, and lucite stripper heels, we wonder if these daughters have a ghost of a chance of NOT growing up to be like their mother.

DON’T INVITE MORRISSEY TO A BARBECUE

A longtime vegetarian, Morrissey (“The Smiths”) has never been one to mince words and when he started gagging onstage during his performance at Coachella, he declared “I smell burning flesh – and I hope to God it’s human!” He stormed off the stage, flashing contemptuous looks toward the stands frying burgers near the stage. Eventually he returned, only to gag some more. The set was a disappointment, but when he took off his shirt, it was apparent that a vegetarian diet is not necessarily low in calories.

The Coachella music festival brought out lots of fashionistas but sky high stilettos just didn’t work on the grass. Chloe Sevigny and Dita Von Teese solved the style dilemma by wearing sensible shoes for a change. Dita dug some Keds out of the back of her closet and Chloe actually rocked the black socks and sandals look.

BROOKE HOGAN'S BOYFRIEND IS NO HULK

Apparently Brooke Hogan doesn’t want a boyfriend who reminds her of her daddy Hulk Hogan. From this photo, it looks as if she towers over her rapper sweetheart, ironically called Stack$ (note she’s barefoot) and probably outweighs him. It doesn’t bother her a bit. They were photographed together in Miami celebrating Stack$ birthday.
