A friend of ours dined at Chateau Marmont recently and happened to be seated at a patio table next to Kate Bosworth. The super skinny actress and several girlfriends nibbled at their dinners and Kate got up and went to the ladies room FIVE times during the two hour meal. Our friend wondered “What’s the matter with that girl – IBS? Maybe, maybe not.
At first glance we thought this was Chaz Bono but a closer look revealed it to be Jon Gosselin, back at home after his long weekend in the Hamptons. He’s looking rather portly and we were immediately reminded of a new product we discovered on The WOW Report. It’s a “torso enhancing” undershirt – basically Spanx for men- it’s called “Ript Fusion.” One of P Diddy’s former employees at Sean John created the body sculpting t-shirt because she figured out what men need. In other words, they want to eat and still look good. For $58 you and Jon Gosselin can do that too.

Jennifer Lopez did a darn good job of NOT looking traumatized by the arrival of her 40th birthday. Having multiple parties helped her get through the difficult week. (Her best outfit is featured above.) Her first one was on the set of her movie “The Back-Up Plan.” Her husband Marc Anthony arranged two other parties and the celebration at New York’s Hotel Griffou was noteworthy because the guests all had to hand over their cell phones and cameras at the door. (Celebrities DON’T like to be told what to do.) Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and many others all fussed, but eventually complied. They WEREN’T happy. Sounds like some magazine bought exclusive rights.
Kim Kardashian refuses to admit it, but the reason she and Reggie Bush split up is because HE CHEATED! And in a MAJOR way! For months, he had an affair behind Kim’s back with a Latina stripper from Atlanta and he flew her around for assignations when Kim wasn’t with him. When Reggie finally split with her, the stripper went to a tabloid to sell her “kiss n’ tell” story. Kim found out and to save face, she made a quick deal with the tabloid so the story was squashed. She learned that Reggie had OTHER affairs also, and she was desperate to keep his humiliating behavior a secret. She waited until the right moment, and called the romance OFF. Needless to say, that claim that “nobody cheated” is bogus.

Our two favorite t-shirts of the day: Madonna’s boyfriend is certainly Jesus #1 in HER life. (They’re pictured boarding her private plane in Spain.) And Shia LaBeouf is kinda cute in his “Best Dad on Earth” t shirt – is he trying to tell us something?
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey still look deliriously happy together on a night out in Tribeca. He really watches out for her. Notice that Mariah is not looking where she’s going as she walks downstairs – and she doesn’t HAVE to. Nick is watching every step she takes and carefully guiding her.
SOMEBODY with a camera was peeking in the window of the fabulous Golyester vintage clothing store on La Brea and they caught Dita Von Teese shopping. It’s nice to see a celebrity who enjoys shopping and doesn’t only wear freebies. She took her time picking out summery sundresses, flouncy skirts, jewelry. and hats. Dita walked out with several shopping bags and loaded them into her BMW convertible.
Cher may have cancelled a few of her Las Vegas shows over the past year but she’s psyched herself up so she can return to performing at Caesar’s Palace in September with a splashy new look. She told Bob Mackie she wants a whole new set of stage costumes. She’s tired of everything and wants to update her look. Money is no object. Mackie’s staffers are hard at work creating a new Cher and her fans might be advised to catch her show again. Rachel McAdams and 50 Cent are having a laugh on the set of “Morning Glory” in New York. They’re filming a scene where Rachel, who plays a TV news anchor, gets very excited over the fact that she ran into 50 Cent outside his hotel and she managed to give him her business card. 50 Cent is turning into quite an actor.
