It’s one thing to wear them around the house in Los Angeles, but on TV in Manhattan?

This is a fun look – especially when you’re promoting a movie about an eccentric woman who disappears. Cate Blanchett is at the New York premier of her new film Where’d You Go, Bernadette? and stands out in the crowd . The over-the-top puffy blue satin sleeves (very Dynasty) with the conservative navy suit is quite eye-catching. Definitely an outfit you can only wear once, but oddly appropriate for this occasion…

JEREMY MEEKS: IS THE HONEYMOON OVER?

Jeremy “Hot Felon” Meeks and his Topshop heiress girlfriend/baby mama Chloe Green haven’t been seen together for a couple of months but he insists they have not broken up. This weekend, however, Chloe was spotted romping with a muscular Monte Carlo polo player on her father’s huge yacht on the Mediterranean. The same yacht where she romped with Jeremy last year. WHY WE MISSED A$AP ROCKY WHILE HE WAS “AWAY”

We’re happy to see A$AP Rocky out of that Swedish prison for more than one reason. We missed his playful fashion ideas. You might remember last year when Rocky appeared at a fancy LACMA event wearing a babushka on his head. Granted, it WAS a Gucci scarf, but he was immediately compared to an eastern European grandma. Rocky confessed he had a scooter accident and ended up with a big gash in his face that eventually required plastic surgery. He used the scarf to cover it up, but was so amused by the attention the scarf brought him that he continued wearing babushkas after the wound healed, wrote a song called Babushka, and he encouraged other guys to wear them too! It would be a crime for such a fashionista to languish in prison!

Miley Cyrus’s sudden decision to leave her husband Liam Hemsworth and take up with another woman is surprising in many ways. After an off-and-on decade together, Miley and Liam had a quickie wedding in December after the dramatic loss of their home in the California wildfire. JEFF BEZOS: IT WAS WORTH IT

Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez seem to be REALLY having a good time in St Tropez with David Geffen and other super-wealthy people. Bezos went through a whole lot of humiliation thanks to The National Enquirer when he started dating Sanchez before his divorce was final. Intimate texts were exposed by The Enquirer whose owner David Pecker is a friend of Donald Trump. Accusations and lawsuits followed, but despite everything, Jeff actually looks happy – he got what he wanted.

SHAWN MENDES AND CAMILA CABELLO DON’T GET A LOT OF ALONE TIME

Shawn Mendes said that all he wanted for his 21st birthday was to take a walk in New York with his girlfriend Camila Cabello. The couple had lunch at DUMBO House members club in Brooklyn, and afterward they DID take a walk, but they weren’t alone. Apparently Shawn has a hard time going anywhere unmolested by fans, so two bodyguards (on the left in a white shirt and on the right in a black shirt) tried to be inconspicuous while paparazzi and fans surrounded the happy pair.

GEORGE HAMILTON GETS CONFIDENCE FROM HIS TAN

Whoa. We had to stop for a second look at this photo of George Hamilton signing autographs outside Craig’s restaurant. It’s amazing that a few men still hold on to that “too tan” look so popular in the 1970’s, despite medical warnings. George says he started tanning because women were more attracted to him with darker skin.(Tanorexic?) We hear he still uses a “sun reflector” today. Interesting that he hosted at least one of Donald Trump’s Miss Universe pageants – surely they exchanged tanning tips. George says Donald probably uses a spray-on bronzer. Maybe George will see this photo and decide to cut back…
