About six weeks after the Rust film shooting, Alec Baldwin remarked that he “didn’t pull the trigger” – that the gun went off by itself – surprising everyone. The FBI checked out the weapon and declared that he DID. Alec INSISTS that he is not responsible for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and the wounding of director Joel Souza. But Alec is a producer on the film, and HE hired the possibly incompetent armourer (person in charge of set weapons.) Meanwhile, Alec’s wife Hilaria announced she is pregnant with his eighth child. Lawyers doubt that Alec will get jail time, even if he deserves it. But certainly Halyna’s family and probably Joel, will sue Alec for all he’s worth. Recently Alec has been complaining about the LA Times and Hollywood Reporter’s extensive coverage of the event. He thinks they make him look bad…

The man who wants to take away our right to bear arms shot and killed a woman with a gun. That’s pretty rich. He’s a murderer and a revolting person. I hope he goes to prison.
Interesting how all the players who take cheap shots at 45 seem to have it blow back in their faces eventually.
Just an observation that seems to play out over and over again.
Is it karma? Or just very stupid people exposing themselves over time?

“…killed a woman with a gun.” Guns kill. They are machines designed to kill. That is why reasonable people want strong restrictions and regulations on the ownership and use of guns.
No gun ever walked up to someone and shot them. I carry and am glad I can protect myself.

Alec Baldwin has problems. Is it past drinking, drug use, personality disorder? Who knows, but he unintentionally killed someone. That is usually called involuntary manslaughter. On top of that, Baldwin has intentionally physically harmed others, verbally abused others.
His victims should have some Justice.
Maybe he thinks if he has more kids with his crazy wife he’ll avoid jail time. He’s a jerk.
