MEL GIBSON AND SLY STALLONE WARN DONALD TRUMP: CHINA TARIFFS COULD DEVASTATE HOLLYWOOD
Tariffs were all over the news again this week but this time with a Hollywood spin. China is threatening to ban US films in retaliation for the tariffs Trump has levied against them. We just heard that some of Trump’s Hollywood pals, including actors and filmmakers Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone, are quietly urging Donald to reconsider the steep tariffs against China since they could decimate the film industry if China does indeed, ban US movies. The good news is that Trump seems impressed by his Hollywood pals (he named them “Special Ambassadors to Hollywood”) so we hope he takes their advice for the sake of the entertainment industry.

Sally
I just watched “First Blood” Sly plays John J. Rambo is a former United States Special Forces soldier who fought in Vietnam and won the Congressional Medal of Honor, but his time in Vietnam still haunts him. A brilliant performance by Sly. The film was shot on location in beautiful Hope, British Columbia.
