Just because Meghan Markle is currently living in London with her hubby Prince Harry and their two kids doesn’t mean she’s given up on America – she’s secretly shopping for a place in New York City. Meghan loves the idea of having a place in the Big Apple, and since the commute from London to NYC is shorter than London to Montecito ( where she and Harry still keep a home) they decided it would make sense to put down some roots there as well. My source says Meghan is working with a realtor friend looking at co-ops on the upper east side of the city.

I wish them well. I think M is beautiful. Having said that I do take issue with them a) inviting strangers to their wedding simply because they were famous, b) claiming to want to leave the monarchy but holding on to their titles, c) spending so much time complaining about how they were treated by the monarchy and ultimately *usually* where there’s smoke there’s fire and all the talk about them being rude to staff and staff quitting, I really do imagine they are difficult (but I don’t know – don’t have firsthand knowledge.) Wish they would go off quietly and live happy, anonymous lives (which would be hard at this point, I get that, but it’s not impossible.)

She is a natural born hustler, which is a good thing! Plus she needs to be because it’s becoming very evident that Harry wasn’t really raised to do a lot, in terms of earning money. He’s friendly, outgoing, has charisma…but does not seem to have the money earning gene.
So Meghan has to do it, and then she takes relentless grief over it. SMH

She’s ambitious, works hard, wants to work for her own money and not be dependent of Harry’s family giving her an allowance, wants ro do good in the world, has a lifestyle business. From the very beginning, I’ve always said that Meghan has driven the bus in the marriage. So, I expect that as her kids get older, she’ll be spending more and more time in NYC and less time in the UK. Probably best for Harry anyway because his family, to put it generously, does not like her. Also, as you said, it’s a pretty short flight from New York to London with lots of nonstops.
