The design company has just announced that rapper Lil Nas X is their latest Brand Ambassador, and besides fashion, he will be promoting their makeup. YSL is taking a hint from Balenciaga’s ever-increasing success under creative director Demna Gvasalia, who literally re-wrote the rules for high fashion. Demna (he’s from Georgia – the Russian one) celebrates street-style as opposed to traditional evening wear.
