Our gal loves Jesus almost as much as she loves the bottle. She’s lived most of her life as a functioning alcoholic, hiding her addiction while maintaining a very busy work schedule. The work has dried up, but unfortunately our gal hasn’t. She’s drinking more than ever and it’s getting sloppy. She recently had to be carted out of a posh hotel after having 6 margaritas at a boozy lunch. Her friends are worried sick that she’s going to drink herself right into the grave and recently held an intervention to persuade her to enter rehab. Unfortunately she refused, and continues to drink like a college kid on spring break – telling her loved ones that Jesus will save her from her addiction.
