The biggest and saddest story of the week ( if not the entire year) was the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, allegedly by their son Nick.  While we already did a recap earlier this week, the tidbits keep coming in and we can now tell you this: The family, while putting on a united front, is privately working to freeze Nick out of any potential inheritance.  My source says a lawyer has been retained to cut Nick out of the will and ensure NONE of the millions and millions in the estate goes to Nick’s expensive legal defense (he retained world renowned criminal defense attorney Alan Jackson).

And there’s this update.  The murders have started to cause a division between Rob and Michele’s closest Hollywood friends.  We aren’t going to name names, but our very inside source reveals there is a group chat among some of their inner circle and tensions are high.  Some of the friends want to see Nick get the death penalty if he’s found guilty of the crimes, while others are aghast at that idea, claiming Rob and Michele would forgive their troubled son and want him to get the obvious mental help he so desperately needs.  My source adds that the group chat has gotten particularly heated and groups of friends are taking sides with some vowing to stop speaking to others who share a different view.

One last tidbit.  Many of Ron and Michele’s well connected and wealthy friends ( including former President Barack Obama) could be called to testify if the case goes to trial without a plea agreement.  Another source reveals that part of the defense strategy will be to subpoena ANYONE who had any interaction with Nick to prove that he is mentally ill.  This list includes a who’s who of Hollywood since the Reiners were considered Hollywood royalty as well as major players in the Democratic Party.

Another HUGE late breaking story this week was allegations that Lisa Marie Presley and her daughter Riley Keough donated eggs to John Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston.  Here’s what we know.  Our well placed former Scientology source confides that the story is very likely accurate and that detailed records of the back room deal probably exist (including video evidence).  The source adds that there is a fertility doctor high in the ranks of Scientology who has helped other members suffering from infertility have children and other famous names are likely involved.

And there’s this.  Another source reveals that Travolta is TERRIFIED that those pesky gay rumors will once again resurface. If the IVF stories are true, it will add fuel to the fire that he and wife Kelly had an arrangement and it was a marriage sans sex (especially if their kids were conceived in a test tube).  If all of their kids are proven to be conceived through IVF, this will add another layer to the ongoing rumors that John is gay and the marriage was lacking physical intimacy. Decades ago Kelly was known to visit Hawaii without John at times and the talk on the island was that she had longtime lover who she’d meet there for regular rendezvous.

In other big news, Patrick Mahomes ( the quarter back for the Kansas City Chiefs) tore his ALS and is out for the remainder of the season.  Here’s what we know.  Taylor Swift is now encouraging her fiance, Travis Kelce to throw in the towel for the rest of the season.  Taylor is worried that Travis, who is likely to retire after this season ends in a few weeks, might get hurt playing the last few games.  Since the Chiefs are already eliminated from Super Bowl contention, Taylor thinks Travis should just sit on the bench and let some of the B team play in his place.  The LAST thing Taylor wants is for Travis to be on crutches when they walk down the aisle in June.

As we exclusively revealed, Donald Trump Jr. made headlines when he got engaged to aspiring model Bettina Anderson.  We can tell you this.  Bettina is gunning for a shotgun wedding even though she’s not pregnant yet.  My source says that Bettina isn’t waiting around for Donnie to make it legal, especially since he already had a long drawn out engagement to his former fiance Kimberly Guilfoyle, which did NOT end with a trip down the aisle.  My well placed source reveals that Bettina is already making wedding plans for 2026, most likely in the fall when Palm Beach, Florida is in high gear, and loaded with the rich and famous.  No surprise the wedding will be at Mar A Lago.
