The series finale of Euphoria was a big story this week, and up until recently the fate of the show remained unclear.  Here’s what we know.  The show’s biggest star Zendaya was the one who called it quits, deciding that while she was grateful that the show made her a star ( and was the catalyst for her Best Actress Emmy) she had enough with TV, and wanted to focus on movies.  Producers planned to continue with Sydney Sweeney as the new main star, but her sex charged storyline this season didn’t resonate with viewers, so producers decided to pull the plug – even though one more season was already in the works.

The man formerly known as Prince Andrew was in the news after being photographed with a black eye.  Our royal source tells us this.  Some people around Andrew fear he’s turned to the bottle to ease his misery, and the word on the street is that he got the shiner after a bender and fell on his hard bathroom floor.  Some closest to him are urging him to check into rehab, but thus far he’s resisting and refusing to even entertain the idea that he has a problem.

Donald Trump made the news when a federal judge ordered his name be removed from the Kennedy Center and we can tell you this.  Donald isn’t about to give up splashing his name all over Washington DC. Now that a judge ordered it removed from the Kennedy center, he’s floating the idea of building his OWN center for performing arts and name it after himself. Don’t be too surprised when he talks about his plans in the upcoming weeks.

Bravo boss Andy Cohen made the news when he was photographed holding hands in Miami, with his boyfriend businessman Kevin Subieski.  We can tell you this. For the most part, Andy has been unlucky in love for the majority of his adult life, but this time around he’s telling friends that he’s hit the jackpot and is planning to marry Kevin this summer in the Hamptons. Andy has a house there and he recently proposed to Kevin so the lovebirds have already started making plans to host their wedding at Andy’s home over Labor Day weekend.  Expect a lot of Bravo stars including his favorite Housewives.

The late Matthew Perry was in the news regarding an upcoming auction of his possessions to benefit his foundation. The part that made headlines was when a private letter that Jennifer Aniston wrote him back when they costarred on Friends, was abruptly pulled from the auction. We can tell you this. Jennifer was horrified that her private words were even considered to be auctioned off, so she reached out to Matthew’s family and offered to make a generous donation to his foundation. She wrote a hefty check, and the letter was returned to her.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and local socialite Kathy Hilton made the news when it was announced she was abruptly being replaced as the grand marshal of the West Hollywood gay parade scheduled for Sunday, June 7. The official word was that some were upset with Kathy because she previously used a gay slur and has been friends with Donald Trump, but we are hearing a different story. Our source says that Kathy had a run-in with one of the event’s organizers, and the war of words quickly escalated into her eventually getting dumped as the grand marshal.  My source says Kathy is far from heartbroken over losing the honorary role, and is thrilled she doesn’t have to deal with the person she clashed with.

Former reality star Spencer Pratt made the news when he came in second in the Los Angeles mayoral race and now he’s headed for a runoff with current mayor Karen Bass.  Here’s what we know.  Win or lose, Spencer has already accomplished what he set out to do: resurrect himself from obscurity.  As we previously reported, offers for a new reality show are coming in and now we can tell you that Spencer is also launching a new podcast.  That’s not all.  He also been offered a job on Fox News as on-camera political contributor, which he plans on taking if he loses the mayoral race.
