Wow – it turns out Shia LaBeouf could have avoided all this career damage created by FKA Twigs’ sexual battery lawsuit. Before anything became public, Twigs attempted to settle the lawsuit quietly because she DIDN’T WANT TO RUIN HIS CAREER. All she asked of Shia was that he make a donation to a domestic violence victims charity, and seek psychological treatment so he wouldn’t harm any more women. He did NOT agree, so the suit was revealed and he lost his coveted role in Olivia Wilde’s new thriller Don’t Worry Darling. Shia had already clashed with the cast and crew, and Olivia promptly replaced him with Harry Styles. Career prospects are now dim. Shia’s new lawyer worked for OJ Simpson and she is playing up Shia’s “honesty” in admitting to abuse and alcoholism. But of course, alcoholism is no excuse for violence.

Shia is capable of ruining his own career! He doesn’t have to blame anyone but himself.
This is rather laughable considering Janet routinely defends/promotes Woody Allen someone who is still working despite DECADES of abuse.
This “story” from FKA makes no sense, it actually sounds like blackmail (as I’m sure with most “charity donations” it is only a percentage of the settlement goes to charity for tax purposes-not the entire sum).
If she really wanted to stop him as she claims she would have went to the police and filed criminal NOT CIVIL charges. She epitomizes a small but very distinct percentage of the careerist women who came forward with #MeToo. “Honorable” and “Brave” when it works for them. Shia needed to be in JAIL a long time ago, but, like so many serial abusers in LA they keep buying their victims off.
