I can certainly understand why Noth is hurt at how people he considered friends treated him with the S.A. allegations. However, sadly they weren’t ‘friends,’ they were coworkers and associates in a franchise TV/movie series. Any Hollywood-associated person is going to worry about themselves and THEIR reputation first and foremost. Of course they were going to back away from any association with him. At that point he was radioactive to all of them. Was Noth so naivé he didn’t understand that basic truth?

SJP hooked the executive producer spot early on and gained power over decisions (making Kim C do nude scenes) and $$. The other ladies eventually got some power and $$ but it was never equal in any way. The Chris Noth problem of a bad unproven incident is Hollywood 101. Condemn and deny first until proven innocent. Remember how badly Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen dissed Kathy Griffin? Same thing-optics. Now, everyone agrees that all of these incidents were sensationalized but it good people their careers and reputations.

Yes I like SJP! She is a fashion icon and better yet, she has a sense of humor about it.
She seems to know exactly what she wants, she trusts her vision, and is probably short with people. She’s been in the business a very long time.
I remember her on Square Pegs and Footloose, she’s awesome.

I don’t think people really care. At the end of the day the cast and crew are your colleagues not your best friends. I would have distant myself too if allegations of a coworker surfaced and they were sexual assauls. Gotta protect yourself if you are working in the business.
