Cher is headed back to court to once again try to get a conservatorship over her troubled son Elijah Blue Allman after he was arrested in New Hampshire and charged with trespassing and assault at a fancy prep school. According to my source, Elijah just MIGHT have been in New Hampshire receiving treatment for his addiction issues, and possibly bounced from the facility before the program was complete (keep in mind this is speculative on the part of my source). Regardless of WHY he was in New Hampshire, Cher feels the latest incident is enough proof that her son needs help and that’s why she’s headed back to court.

It is incredibly hard to gain conservatorship over people who truly need to have a guardian. Rich or poor this is an enormous challenge. I feel bad for them. Mental health is a struggle and the ultimate denominator.

True..his double arrest is probably the best thing that could have happened. He needs court-ordered rehab and mental health treatment if he ever has a chance for a productive life. Minimum 1.5 yrs…it did wonders for Drew Barrymore.
