WAKE UP! JENNIFER AND BRAD ARE NOT GETTING BACK TOGETHER!

Okay, let’s get this Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston “reunion” nonsense out of the way, right now. Sure, they bumped into each other at the SAG Awards and were very cordial. There is NO reason for them NOT to be friends! When they were married, Brad did NOT cheat on Jen with Angelina Jolie! Period. Jen told Brad she wanted a divorce and had started the process BEFORE he started filming Mr and Mrs Smith with Angelina. Brad was sad and Angelina sensed his vulnerability – she set her sights on him, but did NOT break up their marriage. It was already OVER. Ironically, years later, Angelina divorced Brad for many of the same reasons Jen did – he became a boring couch potato who smoked pot all day. Brad admits, and is now addressing, his flaws – he IS basically a nice guy. (Certainly Brad has a new appreciation for the tactful way Jen handled THEIR divorce – no nasty accusations.) Brad and Jen are happy to be friends again – but NOT interested in a repeat performance.

If you’re wondering what Angelina Jolie and her kids did for Labor Day – they had lunch at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood. Maddox is already in school in South Korea and the twins weren’t along for the outing, but Zahara and Shiloh were having a fit of giggles, while Pax chatted with his mom. As usual their bodyguard/driver was discreetly out of sight.

WHAT IS ANGELINA JOLIE THINKING?

We can’t help but wonder what Angelina Jolie is thinking about her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s success. (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is an absolute boxoffice hit, and Brad has great reviews.) Brad has been down in the dumps since Angelina said all those unpleasant things about him during their divorce. He remained undercover while Angelina was constantly photographed at all kinds of places (amusement parks, shopping malls, art stores etc) with her children. Angelina leased a house not too far from Brad’s in Hollywood because they’ve both been working here for the past months and share custody. The tide has turned – gradually Angelina has become not so popular because of the messy divorce (Brad never said a bad word about HER,) and now Brad is making a nice comeback…

We can’t remember the last time we saw Angelina Jolie wear anything but black, and she looks very glamorous and happy at the Hollywood premier of Dumbo. She made quite an entrance in her pale chiffon gown on the red carpet with her four youngest kids. Angelina must be quite happy with Disney – they produced her 2014 movie Maleficent and the sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil coming up this year. Every time we see Angelina and the kids on a red carpet we can’t help thinking she’s sending some kind of message to Brad Pitt…

ANGELINA JOLIE BRAVES THE GROVE ON A WEEKEND

Sunday afternoon at The Grove – especially before Christmas – is usually a mob scene, so imagine how surprised shoppers were to see Angelina Jolie and three of her six kids bouncing from store to store together! Heads turned, but the Jolie-Pitts weren’t really bothered by fans. Usually JUST out of camera range is the watchful bodyguard – but he occasionally stepped up to retrieve and carry the family’s accumulated shopping bags.

ANGELINA JOLIE JUST WANTS TO BE APPRECIATED

Angelina Jolie is NOT happy that her reputation is suffering due to her prolonged and unpleasant divorce from Brad Pitt. She knows that her custody battle with Brad is making her look less sympathetic, and she feels compelled to stir up GOOD publicity for herself. When she’s not being photographed having fun with her children, she is busy promoting herself as a humanitarian. She made an appearance at a London film festival aiming to use the power of film to prevent sexual violence during conflict (in third world countries.) Makes us wonder: do these savage warriors go to the movies?

ANGELINA JOLIE STILL WEARS BLACK ALL SUMMER

Angelina Jolie took her four youngest kids to the movies this weekend – the two older boys, Maddox and Pax had other things to do. Somehow Angelina always gets photographed when she’s out with her family, but Brad is rarely seen with his children. Brad is currently filming in LA and has permission to spend more time with the kids. Maddox and Pax still refuse to see their father, but the younger four pictured here, are fine visiting with Brad.

Certainly Brad Pitt must be reflecting on the enormous difference between his two divorces. When Jennifer Aniston decided to call their marriage off, it was a character-revealing episode. There were no embarrassing accusations made against Brad, and there was no bickering over possessions or money. It was a swift and quiet legal maneuver with no negative repercussions. Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, humiliated Brad with deliberately leaked shocking allegations right away, and never stopped disputing custody and financial issues, extending the negotiations over two expensive years – so far. Through it all, Brad has never said a word about Angelina.

ANGELINA AND HER ENTOURAGE TAKE PARIS BY STORM

It’s always a big production when Angelina Jolie and her six kids and entourage go out in public. Somehow, the paparazzi are always there. She’s getting a lot done on her brief trip to Paris – she’s filming a perfume ad for Guerlain, she had a meeting with President Macron’s wife discussing Syrian refugees, and above, she’s taking the kids to Le Louvre Museum. The fact that she’s wearing HIGH HEELS to walk through a museum makes us wonder if this is just a photo op. (Angelina wears flat shoes to Disneyland.) We bet Brad will be a little envious when he sees this…

ANGELINA JOLIE AND HER KIDS ARE “THE BLACK PACK” ON RED CARPETS

Angelina Jolie has no time to spare with her nonstop promoting of her film First They Killed My Father- right after appearing as a presenter at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, she hopped a plane and flew back to New York for The National Board of Review Awards Gala the next night. She collected the Freedom of Expression Award for her film there. By the way, Angelina is delighted that she has to wear black on red carpets this year – it’s her favorite color! Zahara, 13, and Shiloh, 11, seem quite happy to dress up in black for another red carpet. Shiloh even had a black sling for her broken collarbone to match her three piece black suit.(She took a tumble snowboarding in Lake Tahoe.)
