This is actually a rather flattering photo of Star Jones at the American Music Awards but the devil is in the details. Star is inexplicably wearing a very tight top and black glittery hot pants under that fancy silver coat. A LAWYER in hot pants! Imagine that! It’s a very busy outfit and in no way flattering.

Jennifer Lopez, 42, hasn’t been as hot and sexed up as she appeared at the AMA’s in a VERY long time. Marriage seemed to tame her. Now on the fast-track to being single – she’s taking a tip from Madonna and cutting loose – romancing her young and muscular back-up dancer Casper Smart, 24. After they appeared onstage together, she hustled him to the Greystone Manor after-party and introduced him to other celebrities like Chris Brown and Pitbull, on their way to a private booth. Many smooches and a few steamy lap dances later, they left holding hands. Casper’s head must be spinning.
Let’s keep it simple. The best and the worst fashion at the American Music Awards is perfectly illustrated by Kesha and Rihanna. Kesha looks as if she shredded a plastic trash bag before she slipped it on and her hair is an appropriate match. Rihanna, on the other hand, shows that she can be incredibly glamorous and edgy at the same time. Nice work, girls.
Pete Wentz missed the mark in his leather outfit at the AMA’s. The military/ dominatrix black leather look was not a bad idea, but everything was just too crisp shiny, stiff, and brand-new. Rockers should look a little beat up – scuffed and distressed. We imagine the bottoms of his boots are still clean. The perfect shiny look is just too Hot Topic. HE looks cute, though.
Grove shoppers were surprised when Janet Jackson made an appearance on a balcony to promote her new CD “Number Ones,” which will be released on November 17. The album features 33 songs that went to number one around the world. Janet must be VERY eager to promote this collection – she’s never appeared at The Grove before. She didn’t perform. She watched a group of dancers on the ground grooving to some of her biggest hits, and threw kisses to the excited crowd. She IS set to perform at the opening of the AMA’s on November 22, however.
