Alain Delon

IT’S NOT EASY BEING ALAIN DELON’S SON

Alain-Fabian Delon, 25, has mixed feelings about being the son of the most admired and popular actor of all time in France. Alain-Fabian has some of his father’s amazing good looks – enough to give him a job modeling at Dior and some work as an actor. (We’d call him a male starlet) He says that whenever his father’s name comes up, everything in the room changes and he feels “invisible.” It’s a lot to live up to. Above, Alain-Fabian is attending the Berluti fashion show in Paris.

SECOND GENERATION: FRENCH ACTOR ALAIN DELON’S LOOKALIKE SON

It’s never a bad thing when a gorgeous person reproduces an equally gorgeous offspring. Alain Delon, 80, was the king of cool European movies in the 60’s and 70’s – he had style and presence like no other French star, except perhaps Brigitte Bardot. Americans don’t realize how incredibly popular he was around the world. We saw him once sitting in a café on Sunset Strip and were mesmerized. Enough about him – his son (with a Dutch model, of course) is Alain-Fabien Delon, 22, and he got his father’s good looks. Alain-Fabian is a successful model (above, he’s the face of Theory’s fall 2016 collection) And he’s starting to act – those are hard shoes to fill…

ALAIN DELON IS STILL A FRENCH ICON

Back in the 1960’s, French actor Alain Delon was the male version of Brigitte Bardot – he was THAT popular. He was compared to James Dean, but actually Delon was more of the classic “pretty boy” type – a smooth, beautifully dressed European who always had a cigarette in hand. Now 78, Delon turned up at a Louis Vuitton fashion event in Paris and the lucky guy still has a full head of hair.

FRENCH ACTOR ALAIN DELON IS NOW 75

We haven’t thought about Alain Delon for decades, but we were reminded by The Huffington Post that Delon celebrated his 75th birthday on November 8. During the 60’s and 70’s Delon was the French version of Johnny Depp. Not only was he drop dead gorgeous, but he had great European style. Envious men everywhere used to insist he was gay, but his many affairs and marriages and children cast doubt on that notion. We do recall seeing him sitting in a cafe at the height of his fame and we were stunned by his extravagant beauty.
