Armie Hammer wants you to know he’s NOT a xenophobic, he just PLAYS one in his latest movie, Citizen Vigilante.  Armie was considered persona non grata in Hollywood after disturbing allegations surfaced, and even though he was cleared of any wrongdoing after a two year investigation, the offers weren’t coming in.  Armie has yet to settle his father’s estate (it’s been tied up in probate for years) and he has kids to feed, so when he was offered the leading role in Citizen Vigilante, he accepted.  We recently went to a press screening of the questionable movie and Armie told us EXCLUSIVELY that while he understands his character is very unlikable, it’s a role , and NOT who he is.  He pointed out that Leonardo DiCaprio played a slave owner in Django Unchained , and no one accused him of being a racist, so please separate the actor from the character.
