ANDREW DICE CLAY: WILL THIS “NICE GUY” FINISH FIRST?

Andrew Dice Clay is just killing time until his Showtime reality show “Dice” debuts this weekend. He’s alternately listening to music, smoking, and drinking coffee as he writes down notes to himself outside Starbucks. His appearance in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine revived his career, resulting in this new series. Early reviews are mixed – some say Clay’s real-life persona is not as compelling as the obnoxious loudmouth misogynist he appeared to be onstage in the 90’s. Will he succeed as a nice guy?

  1. This untalented moron should be washing cars. Who is he connected to?

  2. In past life I hung out at the Comedy Store with some seriously funny people. Dice was a f-up character and I found Andrew a decent stand up guy. Go figure? I watched the premier and laughed, so in my opinion he was funny. I think he’s aware of what time passing means, it’s a new era.

  3. How close to the bone will this series go?

Because in “real-life,” Andrew Dice Clay is well known to be a big ol’ sloppy ‘mo bottom.

Turns out his hatred of women is rooted in a cliche-ridden sea of conflicted self-hatred.

His act wasn’t funny in 1988. Can’t imagine it will be now.
