ZACHARY QUINTO IS FINALLY GAY, SO GET USED TO IT

We sensed that Zachary Quinto, (Spock on the new Star Trek) who came out to New York magazine and via Twitter, has been wanting to come out as gay for a long time, but his management advised against it. Makes sense, he’s a leading man. But he was not comfortable avoiding the issue and didn’t want to fake it any longer. Hollywood insiders knew he was gay but perhaps some fans didn’t. He’s one of the few gay Hollywood actors who accepted gay roles. Closeted gay actors don’t like all those pesky reporters asking about what it’s like to “play gay” so they stay away from homosexual parts. Zachary played the parts and he showed up for gay causes. So it was just a matter of time before he came out, and we’re happy for him.

Thank you for sharing this uplifting information with your visitors. I find your pages most engaging. I wish you and Zachary the best!

If the Bible says the gay lifestyle is an abomination, then that’s what I believe too. Believe what you want.

  3. Kitty

He just screams gay, like NPH who is not at all believable as a straight male.

  4. Kitty

    Who is he?

    Woohoo! Good for him!

It takes courage to come out, especially when there is so much bigoted violence.

It also takes courage to come out when you are often cast because people are hot for you.

I completely agree with Hilary; and, further, with reference to Neil Patrick Harris, he plays a heterosexual horndog very well. Probably lots of people are stuck playing heterosexual roles, play them very well and aren’t getting the credit they deserve.

That’s an unfortunate.. HUGE NOSE! Triple threats.. Bucky teefs.. spacy, too wide apart Strabismus eyes.. tragic rapid hair st.. like his hair is increasing so quickly, out of control, prepared to cover his entire body..like Sasquatch.. laser, plucking and electrolysis and strip wax is futile.. Who is this fuggy-freak guy?

^^^ Why, because they’re groomed? Honey, if they weren’t, he’d have to brush them back into his hair. Trust!

  8. Seriously?

Anyone who took one look at those eyebrows would not be surprised by this news.

This was no surprise. But I agree with Hilary, there are more important things, and if he shows range as an actor, he should do well. He was so wonderfully creepy in Heroes.

At this moment Strom is shocked and is burning all his Spock memorabilia.

Pixie! What was wrong with Pippa?
The guy did a great Spock.
Can’t wait for the next Star Trek.

    Who?

“Closeted gay actors don’t like all those pesky reporters asking about what it’s like to “play gay” so they stay away from homosexual parts.” Not always, Jake Gyllenhaal plays gay and is gay.

I’m happy for him, too, and hope it turns out to be a decision that does not impact his acting career. I wouldn’t exactly say he’s a leading man but he was great in “Heroes” and he can clearly play all kinds of roles. I’m sure the younger generation is like, ‘so what?’

Me, too, Janet! Quinto was terrific in the Star Trek movie a few years back — really captured the essence of Nimoy’s Spock, but also gave the part his own twist. Neil Patrick Harris is doing quite well, thank you, despite, or maybe because of, coming out. There are ssooo many more important things to ponder these days than someone’s sexual orientation. 🙂
