Not only is Olympic Gold Medalist Alysa Liu a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton, she’s also offering the fashion house her ideas – and they’re LISTENING. The 20-year-old skater has a HUGE following, especially among the under 30 crowd, and that’s the consumer Louis Vuitton is hoping to appeal to. Alysa is noted for her frenulum piercing (it’s called a smiley and goes through the skin that attaches her upper lip to her gums) and she couldn’t wait to design one for the fashion house. It’s a first for LV, but production has already begun, and the piercings will soon be available to you in both surgical steel and gold! My fashion source says a Alysa is also working with the creative directors on other unique products – including a very limited edition of ice skates.
