Anybody wondering why everyone in Hollywood seems to be working steadily these days – except Lindsay Lohan -needs to be reminded of her comments about Harvey Weinstein back in 2017. Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, and Mira Sorvino had just joined 25 other women accusing Weinstein of being a sexual predator. Lindsay jumped to Weinstein’s DEFENSE, insisting that he was being unfairly treated. “I don’t think it’s right what’s going on. He’s never harmed ME or done anything to ME. We’ve done several movies together!”

One can just imagine a drug fueled night with Weinstein and Lohan exchanging platitudes…..
I suspect she mistakenly thought defending him would get her a job when she was unemployable. She had pretty good reason to be desperate for work at the time. Perhaps he is the reason she was so messed up though. Maybe she learned to expect transactional sexual behaviour pretty young. OR maybe she really didn’t experience much pressure from him, if he was not into children. I don’t know his bent.
If she was being truthful, then it was the right thing to say.
She put her money on the wrong horse.
If she was being truthful about her own experience with him, Anonymous, than the last two sentences would have been fine to say.
It’s the ones that came before it that were problematic.

Its possible that Harvey never hit on her.

Lohan said those comments because people were flooding her Instagram telling her to “come forward” and speak up about her experiences so she’d get good press, that’s why she reacted like that. She quickly apologized when she realized the severity/what was actually happening..
you’re so trashy for using that picture and the overall tone of the post is vile after everything she’s been through (and was put through BY US), what LL said was wrong but shaming her isn’t very progressive of you either! and she actually has been working steadily for the past couple years — signed a 3 picture deal with Netflix, narrated a show for Amazon, has been getting multiple sponsorships/doing commercials (including that Pepsi holiday campaign), is in talks with Disney to do a Freaky Friday sequel with Jamie Lee Curtis (who just won an Oscar!) among other things you could’ve easily looked up … so she’s doing just fine and deserves a lot of props for getting to where she is now with pretty much no support system.
