SHOCKING! We just purchased Kim Hastreiter’s new book STUFF and our eyes popped when we got to these pages. Kim was co-founder of that ultra-hip and fun New York magazine called Paper -all about NY pop culture, nightlife, fashion, music and art. STUFF reveals Kim’s incredibly well documented life and her unusual collections (thrift shop and otherwise). Among her saved memorabilia were these cover issues of the Daily News from around 2018 and 2019. Apparently the Daily News was not fond of the future President and we found it hard to believe they got away with these cover stories! No lawsuits?
