THE PARTY'S OVER

We hear rumblings that the Scientologists made an offer to Michael Jackson to buy Neverland. Supposedly they wanted to turn it into a lavish celebrity retreat compound. (Hubbardland?) Our source said that Michael Jackson’s family , many of whom are still Jehovah’s Witnesses, were unhappy and didn’t want them to get it. According to this source, a consortium, led by a Beverly Hills businessman, outbid the Scientologists for the property. We’ve heard this “sold” rumor before and aren’t sure WHAT to think. But one thing we KNOW – there won’t be any Scientologists – or anybody else – squealing on the bumper cars or the ferris wheel at Neverland any more. The amusement park rides have been sold to a Japanese company.

  1. Just bizarre. Neverland will go down as one of the Twentieth Century’s unexplainable oddities.
And Michael Jackson was one of the best things about the eighties…

  2. I feel most sorry for the animals being held “hostage” there. I mean is anyone else saddened by the sight of the elephants in the last picture just kind of aimlessly wandering in what appears to be a very boring enclosure. Hopefully they will end up ok. And whatever happened to all the primates he carried around for awhile? Poor Bubbles. Michael jackson is a disgrace and an unconvicted child molester. Those poor kids – does anyone else think that he’s probably molesting them too!!! i can’t stand him…

  3. I’m an animal lover but I don’t know enough about elephants. It seems they have a better life than out in the wilds. Maybe not.
That children at play sign should go up on eBay. That would be pretty good hanging over someone’s bar!

  4. What won’t the Japanese buy? Jeez- If there was a America to Japanese only eBay, we could eliminate the national debt!

  5. Dont diss the King. Michael is way better than all of yall. He went to court and he was cleared of the aquisitions. One word : Innocent.
…oh yeah O.J. Didnt do it eather.
