THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING GLORIA STEINEM

Ronan Farrow (we like to call him a girl’s best friend) hosted an A&E Network women’s panel in New York that included one of our all-time favorite people – Gloria Steinem. She inspired us through the years to survive the behavior of patriarchal editors and producers and fight for women’s rights. Surely she played an enormous part in the conviction of Harvey Weinstein. We cannot thank her enough…

  1. She certainly has had an illustrious career.

But we won’t hold our breath waiting for her to come clean about her student days as a “US Intelligence Asset” in India.

With so many young Americans making the trek there to “find themselves” (most were highly idealistic–and passionate in their opposition to the war in Viet Nam), it was important to Uncle Sam to keep tabs–thanks to intrepid young operatives like Gloria.
