While the superstar knows she can’t change her stage name, she has already taken preliminary steps to change her legal name to Taylor Swift-Kelce. She is set to marry the football star in a matter of days , and soon after that, her passport, driver’s license, and other legal documents will be updated to reflect her new name.

I think this marriage will last maybe 7 yrs. I don’t understand why she wants to hitch her wagon (so to speak) to this guy who allegedly was set up to be her contracted boyfriend. Allegedly she prefers the ladies and allegedly she’s deep in the closet. J.K. seems boorish, unsophisticated, a big dumb jock. Is she that desperate to have man that she’ll settle for this dude? Apparently so.

I didn’t get married until I was 50 years old. Taking my husband’s name felt right to me, and my husband wanted me to do what *I* wanted to do. But is IS a hassle to go through the name change — DMV, Social Security and a few other things. However, because I wasn’t a spring chicken when I got married, I kept my maiden name in the middle. It’s a way for people from my past to find me on social media as well.
