COURTNEY LOVE: STILL PAYING DEARLY FOR HER TWITTER HABIT

Wow. We were surprised to see this photo of Courtney Love looking so pulled together after she appeared to be such a wreck the last time we saw her. She’s in Los Angeles for her second Twitter defamation lawsuit and wants to make a good impression in court. Her last Twitter defamation lawsuit cost her $430,000, although we wonder if the designer she insulted ever really collected. Courtney’s not good about paying her bills.

COURTNEY LOVE’S TWITTER FEVER GOT HER IN TROUBLE AGAIN

A barefoot Courtney Love was photographed ambling around the Chateau Marmont carrying a guitar, looking somewhat dazed. She’s in LA because her former lawyer Rhonda Holmes is suing her for defamatory remarks Courtney posted on Twitter about her. It’s all related to Courtney’s claim that Kurt Cobain’s estate is being mismanaged. That old Twitter problem again. The trial starts next week and we bet Rhonda will be happy to see this photo because Courtney isn’t looking very credible.

DON’T BELIEVE WHAT KIM KARDASHIAN SAYS ON TWITTER

For some reason we were sickened to learn how much Kim Kardashian is paid to tweet and casually promote a product like lip gloss. Fans looking for genuine beauty or shopping tips or sincere recommendations are being sadly misled. The bad news is, according to Huffington Post, Kim is handed $20,000 for each of the brand names she “drops” on Twitter because she has so many followers lapping it up. Right now she’s the leader of the pack when it comes to money for tweets. Stacy Keibler gets $6500 per tweet, Jared Leto gets $13,000, and Snooki rakes in $7,800.

The truth comes out! About six weeks ago we scooped the news that Jessica Simpson’s parents Joe and Tina were getting a divorce. We couldn’t exactly tell you WHY but we alluded to “suspicious messages” that Joe was caught sending on Twitter. We knew the messages were aimed at a young GUY that Joe had become involved with, but didn’t want to risk a lawsuit. (As you know the Simpsons have plenty of money for lawyers.) Now The National Enquirer has blown the story wide open and they say Joe, 54, has come out as gay to the family. That’s why Tina filed for divorce. When Courtney Love isn’t shopping, she’s ranting on Twitter and she recently became irate when Lana Del Rey performed what was described in Rolling Stone as a “delicate” rendition of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana’s hit “Heart- Shaped Box” in concert in Australia. Courtney slammed Lana with a tweet saying “You DO know the song is about my vagina, right? So next time you sing it, think about THAT!” The tweets have been deleted, but certainly Lana will think twice before singing the song again.

When she reopened the account she had 162,000 followers, so maybe her scheme is working. She was hired to pose for a sexy layout in Complex magazine (top photo.) If Wayne Gretzky didn’t want his daughter to be a pin up girl, he shouldn’t have married a Playboy centerfold (Janet Jones.)

Overnight our opinion of LeAnn Rimes has changed. For some reason, we have been giving her he benefit of the doubt – despite the fact that Eddie Cibrian left his wife Brandi Glanville and children for her. Naively we blamed Eddie – LeAnn seemed young and sweet and totally in love. LeAnn’s penchant for parading around in bikinis was puzzling – she seemed desperate for attention and validation. This week she had a very character revealing moment when she tweeted a photo of the special cake she had made for Eddie’s 39th birthday. The theme of the cake was “Eddie’s Favorite Things” and it featured a likeness of Eddie and LeAnn in a bed on top with his two young sons lurking on the side of the cake. Oblivious to her lack of taste and common sense, LeAnn proudly shared her creation with the world, and instantly she became a whole lot less likeable…
