WHOOPI GOLDBERG THINKS THE 40 WOMEN ACCUSING BILL COSBY ARE LIARS

whoopi-goldbergcut

Whoopi Goldberg just lost what little credibility she still had by defending Bill Cosby once again. Forty-plus women accusing Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them does not represent likelihood of guilt according to Whoopi Goldberg. Apparently she blames the victims. Whoopi got up on her high horse and accused Cosby critics of making “snap judgments!” Imagine that! Even after Cosby HIMSELF confessed to drugging women for sex purposes in his 2005 testimony, Whoopi insists he is “innocent until proven guilty.” Whoopi Goldberg is a disgrace to the female sex. And she still believes OJ Simpson didn’t do it.

JENNY MCCARTHY ISN’T ENDEARING HERSELF TO THE AUDIENCE ON “THE VIEW”

Barbara Walters has a lot to think about on “The View.” She wants to maintain her shrinking lead over competitor “The Talk” and hoped that adding Jenny McCarthy to the group would do the trick. In November, the show will go to Disneyland for a week of live broadcasting to boost ratings. But outspoken Jenny is not testing well – viewers are not particularly fond of her. Ironically, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, whom Jenny replaced, had a great month on Fox & Friends news – ratings are up 22%. Unless viewers warm up to Jenny, her days might be numbered.

JENNY MCCARTHY IS BETTER SUITED TO MTV THAN “THE VIEW”

We’re rarely able to watch The View, but feel compelled to join the masses of people irate about the addition of Jenny McCarthy as cohost on the show. As Linda Stasi in the NY Post put it – the show needs someone “smart – not smarmy.” She suggested the very entertaining Mario Cantone, and we agree. The fact that Jenny McCarthy is still promoting her anti-vaccination nonsense, which results in the spread of infectious disease, in spite of scientific evidence proving otherwise, is appalling. The Playboy educated McCarthy is pretty and outspoken, but dangerously ignorant. Nice try with the glasses.

BARBARA WALTERS THINKS IT’S TIME FOR LILY TOMLIN TO GET MARRIED

The ladies on The View did NOT drag our beloved Lily Tomlin out of the closet today – she outed herself in 2001. Barbara Walters discreetly pointed out that Lily has been with her ”partner” for an astonishing 42 years. (It’s especially amazing since Lily’s girlfriend and writing partner Jane Wagner was responsible for writing and directing the most humiliating movie in the history of Lily Tomlin and John Travolta in 1978. They played LOVERS and “Moment by Moment” was such an embarrassing stinker and flop that it has never been released for home video so you may never get to see the camp classic.) Anyway, Lily and Jane survived the movie disaster and mother hen Barbara Walters coyly asked Lily if she ever “thought about marriage.” Really Barbara, after 42 years together. Lily made a joke implying that deciding on the wardrobe (who wears the dress?) would be too difficult…

Here’s Mary-Kate Olsen as you don’t often see her – wearing a bright color! The fashionable twin and her sister Ashley are kept busy working on their highly successful clothing lines – the most expensive of which is “The Row.” The twins were delighted last week when Michelle Obama wore of pleated skirt of theirs on “The View.” Almost all of the Olsen’s designs are made in the USA.

BARBARA WALTERS HAS A CRUSH ON ROB PATTINSON

At first it was a toss-up to decide which of The View women had the biggest crush on Rob Pattinson when he guested on their show today to promote “Remember me.” The ladies were dolled up and on their best and most coy behavior. They could barely contain their smiles and shy glances. But Barbara Walters definitely seemed most smitten. Not only did she compare Rob to James Dean (which is as good as it gets from her era – or ANY era for that matter) When Joy remarked about his looks and asked Barbara for her opinion, Barbara cooed “You already KNOW what I think.”

THE SITUATION HAS A SUGGESTION FOR JOY BEHAR

The Situation (Mike Sorrentino) says he refuses to stoop to the level of Joy Behar. Joy has frequently ripped the Jersey Shore clan as “reflecting badly on Italian-Americans” and when the crew guested on “The View,” she bluntly advised them to “Save your money.” The Situation made an appearance in Minneapolis at Bootleggers bar and our inquisitive colleague in gossip, CJ from the Star-Tribune, asked him about Behar’s frequent negative comments. Mike responded with guido tact “If you don’t like somebody’s show – change the channel and shut your mouth!” He added that he IS saving his money.
