TERRY AND HEATHER DUBROW: FOR THE LOVE OF REAL ESTATE

Well that was fast. Reality stars Heather and Terry Dubrow made news when they sold their Newport Beach home for $55 million and moved into a penthouse in LA’s star studded building, the Century. Well now it turns out the Real Housewife of Orange County and her Botched doctor husband have NO plans to leave Orange County, like everyone assumes. The couple purchased the LA penthouse as part of a 1031 exchange, a tax code that lowers ones taxes after selling a property if another property is purchased within a short amount of time. It’s just an investment. Heather and Terry have been trying to lease their LA penthouse for $75,000 a month,(see link below) and they are leasing a house in OC until they find a home they want to buy.

CAN SHANNON BEADOR’S BAD HABITS SAVE THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY?

According to a friend, RHOC star, Shannon Beador will be checking into rehab, perhaps even by the time you read this. Shannon was recently charged with a hit-and-run and DUI in her hometown of Newport Beach, California. Our source reveals that Shannon’s drinking has been a cause for concern for her friends and RHOC housewives for awhile, so this could be a blessing in disguise. The insider adds that the REAL silver lining of Shannon’s behavior is that it might keep the struggling reality show alive for another season! As we previously reported, BRAVO planned to pull the plug on RHOC due to low ratings, but Shannon’s drinking drama, arrest, and rehab, might be just what the doctor ordered to keep the show on the air…

Bravo Real Housewives of Orange County

BOO HOO- ORANGE COUNTY HOUSEWIVES MIGHT BE KAPUT!

According to our source, this could be the LAST season for the Real Housewives of Orange County. Season 17 launched with big ratings, but the show has been in a free-fall ever since – the most recent episode is one of the lowest rated ever in the franchise’s history. Our well placed Bravo source says that network executives feel the show has lost its mojo and despite frequent cast shakeups, the audience has lost interest. While a final decision has yet to be made, our source predicts this will be IT for RHOC on Bravo. There’s always a possibility producers could sell the show to a less known network, but of course that would mean a steep pay cut for the housewives. In our source’s opinion, the show is now just a bunch of middle-aged women arguing about nothing. There are no celebrities, no real glamour and just a bunch of cookie cutter tract homes and cheap fashion. Harsh…

Ratings Shannon Beador The Real Housewives of Orange County

WHAT REAL OC HOUSEWIVES WILL DO FOR RATINGS

We cringe at the word “housewife,” but fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County will appreciate this tidbit. Producers have been worried about declining ratings for a few years, and they tried bringing in new cast members, but that failed. So now they’re reverting back to storylines that worked in the past. Shannon Beador’s divorce from her husband David brought in huge ratings as the nastiness of the split sent shockwaves through the pricey OC community where they lived. They haven’t spoken for years, but this past weekend, Shannon conveniently ran into her ex-husband at The Quiet Woman, a restaurant in Corona Del Mar. She immediately posted a photo to her social media (dolled up in her best) and the story went viral. Our source says this was no coincidence – that meeting was planned. Producers are hoping to generate buzz for the upcoming season which debuts next week so expect more of these so called “random” encounters.

THE NEW “ORANGE COUNTY HOUSEWIFE” IS MORE THAN A DOCTOR

The Real housewives of Orange County just started filming next season and they’ve added a tantalizing new cast member. She’s Jennifer Armstrong, an Orange County MD who specializes in skin care and anti-aging treatments, of course. But she’s more than your typical educated, successful woman- she got through school the easy way – with someone else paying for it! Back in 2014 she was sued by her disgruntled billionaire former fiancé who claims he paid her way through medical school while showering her with money, a Range Rover, jewelry etc, and after graduation she cheated on him and dumped him. By that time she was pregnant with twins that she claimed were HIS, but it turned out they weren’t! They eventually settled the lawsuit, but Bravo hopes to find the billionaire and get him to appear on the show.
