Cher and 50ish writer Ron Zimmerman (who happens to be a buddy of Howard Stern) have been hanging out for over two years and besides romantic issues, it turns out they’ve been collaborating for months on a writing project. And LOGO, the gay channel, is hot for it! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cher and Ron signed a development deal with the network to produce a pilot for a script set in early 1960’s Hollywood. The only catch is, it’s a drama, and we wish it were a comedy. No decisions have been made yet on whether Cher will have an on camera role, but the network loves their combined writing. LOGO will soon be featuring The Golden Girls reruns too.

CHER KEPT HER ROMANCE WITH RON ZIMMERMAN SUCCESSFULLY UNDER WRAPS

We can’t believe that Cher had a boyfriend for a YEAR that went pretty much under the radar. She and Ron Zimmerman, a comic and writer and buddy of Howard Stern, spent every spare minute together after they were introduced last year by a mutual friend. They were seen side by side in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and they vacationed in Hawaii more than once. Eventually their busy schedules kept them apart more often than not. Absence did NOT make their hearts grow fonder. The relationship wound down into friendship, but they still chat almost every day.
