Elisabetta Canalis is walking proof that a girl’s life doesn’t have to go downhill after breaking up with George Clooney. The Italian born model/actress dated George for two glamorous years and they split up in 2011 when she finally realized he wasn’t kidding when he said he had no intention of getting married and having kids. Certainly she was even more surprised than the rest of us when he married Amal Alamuddin. But she had already fallen for an orthopedic surgeon – Dr Brian Perri – and they got married last year. Now she’s happily pregnant and content in knowing that there IS life after George. (Above, Elisabetta and Brian in Los Angeles.)

George Clooney’s exgirlfriend, Italian TV personality Elisabetta Canalis, attracts admiring glances as she leaves Barneys in Beverly Hills with her two little dogs. Ironically, Elisabetta started her career as a professional dancer on TV in Italy long before she appeared on our Dancing with the Stars in 2011. In spite of that, she was the SECOND celebrity eliminated! In September she married orthopedic surgeon Brian Perri, who is affiliated with Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, so she will be spending most of her time here.

George Clooney’s ex-girlfriends LOVE beating him to the altar. Not long after he split with Stacy Keibler, she got married to entrepreneur Jason Pobre and they already have a baby together. George’s girlfriend BEFORE Stacy was TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis and she landed herself a doctor. Brian Perri is an orthopedic surgeon at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Actually, she and Brian Perri have been seeing each other for MONTHS, but he lives in Beverly Hills and she lives mostly in Italy. Not only is Brian good looking, but he happens to be an orthopedic surgeon at Cedars Sinai hospital. ELISABETTA CANALIS: FROM GEORGE CLOONEY TO JACKASS

“Jackass” star Steve-O, 37, looks like the cat that swallowed a canary in this photo from Rome where he was caught kissing George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. They were seen embracing on the street and smooching in a taxi while shopping in Rome. We can’t help but wonder if Elisabetta, 33, knows what she’s getting into. The couple has “Dancing with the Stars” in common –Elisabetta was on last season, and Steve in 2009. Neither lasted very long, and strangely, stuntman Steve was injured on the show. Elisabetta might be surprised to learn her MTV beau graduated from Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Clown School. He’s been institutionalized for both drugs and bipolar disorder and he set himself on fire on the Howard Stern show. The good news is he claims to be clean and healthy now and hopefully he will stay that way.

Why was anyone surprised when Elisabetta Canalis described her two year romance with George Clooney as “more of a father-daughter relationship.” According to People magazine this is how Elisabetta, 33, felt about 50 year old George. She went on to say he was a gentleman at all times and very generous but they never spoke of marriage or children. ”He was as special and important as a father to me.” Her statements were regarded as something of an INSULT to George, but surely he felt the same way. Don’t older wealthy men with young girlfriends generally assume a fatherly role? George is too smart to assume the young girls he dates are oblivious of the age difference….

Just as we told you, Elisabetta Canalis is THRIVING after her breakup with George Clooney. Any girl who has a relationship with Clooney leaves the romance far better off than she was when it started. George always makes sure of that. When George severs a romance, he helps his girls financially if they need it, and guides them back to better versions of their former lives. And his fame rubs off on them. Page 6 says that Elisabetta has raked in around 10 million dollars from sponsorships and TV deals in Italy since her split. George’s girls generally attract a better quality of boyfriends than they did before. That’s also why they don’t write tell-alls about George.

GEORGE CLOONEY: ALL HE WANTS IS TO REMAIN SINGLE

It’s high time that women started LISTENING to George Clooney. Elisabetta Canalis is just the latest in a long list of attractive women (who resemble each other) who didn’t believe George when he gently informed them that he had no intention of getting married. Clooney repeats this mantra in almost every interview, just in case someone missed it. George’ s relationships all seem to last around two years – that’s when the girls start wanting a commitment that he refuses to give them. And they all end the same. The girls have achieved a certain amount of fame and they go back to their former careers, with a nicer bank balance and maybe a new condo. George is always generous and they don’t bad-mouth him. Now that it’s over, those ridiculous gay rumors about George begin again – just because he doesn’t want to get married, doesn’t mean he’s gay! (Why would all these women want to marry him if he was gay?) There are definitely more two year relationships in his future.
