LADY GAGA’S BORN THIS WAY CHARITY – WHAT HAPPENED?

According to RadarOnline, Lady Gaga’s non-profit charity Born This Way (she started it with her mom) was actually quite profitable – and Gaga’s mother Cynthia Germanotta enjoyed a $200,000 salary for her work there as president. Born This Way raised over 12 million dollars between 2015 and 2019 and their rather vague goal was “to support the mental health of young people and work with them to create a kinder world.” A 2019 tax filing indicates that the charity took in $3,609,947 for the year, but after office expenses they only paid out $149,914 in grants! Makes you wonder…

LADY GAGA’S SHOES GET TALLER EVERY DAY AND SHE CAN STILL WALK

We have to give Lady Gaga credit- nobody walks better in ridiculously high platform shoes than SHE does. (And she doesn’t have a guy to hold onto.) Here she is, towering over her fans, while wearing a dress with her “Born This Way” album cover printed on it. She doesn’t seem to be mourning the split with her boyfriend Luc Carl.

LADY GAGA CHANGED HER MIND ABOUT WEIRD AL YANKOVIC

Lady Gaga just wants to be loved. Weird Al Yankovic poked fun at Gaga when he recorded his spoof of her “Born This Way” called “Perform This Way.” Proceeds were set to go to the Human Rights Campaign. Al reached out to Gaga for approval in advance (something he never does) and her people demanded a copy of the lyrics as well as the final song. Just when Al thought it was a go, Gaga flatly rejected the song with a big fat “no.” Since he wouldn’t use a rejected song on his album, Al posted it online with sharp criticism of Gaga’s lack of a sense of humor and pointed out that she didn’t care about charity either. No sense of humor? Gaga was HIGHLY insulted and immediately changed her mind about the song. She encouraged Al to put the song on his album.

LADY GAGA’S CATWALK DREAMS COME TRUE IN PARIS

Nobody was more excited than Lady Gaga when she made her debut as a runway model in Thierry Mugler’s Paris fashion show. Gaga’s brilliant stylist and fashion director Nicola Formichetti, who is responsible for Gaga’s innovative look, designed the new collection for the Mugler label. Gaga provided the music and walked the catwalk. She introduced her track “Government Hooker “ from her “Born This Way” CD. Note that most of the fashions look like they came right out of Gaga’s closet. After the show, lady Gaga pulled on her leopard catsuit, and went to Maxim’s for dinner.
