We are ABSOLUTELY APPALLED by Barbra Streisand’s remarks about the documentary Finding Neverland- AND her lame apology. She said she absolutely believed the victims James Safechuck and Wade Robson, but she blamed their MOTHERS more than she seemed to blame Michael Jackson for the abuse! She said the kids were THRILLED to spend time with Jackson and “it didn’t kill them.” Worst of all, she dismissed Michael Jackson’s horrible behavior with “his sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he had or whatever DNA he had.” Hello Barbra- abusing children is a CHOICE, and not inherited! She topped it off with that incredibly stupid line about “he was always nice to ME” – right, Bill Cosby was nice to lots of people when he wasn’t drugging and raping young women. When the backlash started, Barbra tried to backtrack her statements, but it was too late…

She is right. If the parents were doing their job as parents those children would have never ended up in Neverland. She is also correct that the kids must have been starry-eyed. It was Michael freaking Jackson. Who would not have been? Michael was at fault, but the parents are equally to blame.Who would agree when any adult asks to have their child sleep over their house? No one, if they ere not willing to sacrifice their children for fame or fortune.
But if Michael Jackson were a Trump supporter they would be marching down the streets in their stupid pink hats demanding justice. Hollywood will turn a blind eye to anything as long as it suits their goals. disgusting people.

One can split hairs, but in the case of the Chandler boy, the “trade-off” was well-documented.
The father (he was the dentist, Evan Chandler who eventually committed suicide after destroying his relationship with his son) brokered a deal with Jackson whereby he–Evan Chandler–would get a screenplay deal, in exchange for looking the other way, vis a vis Jackson and his son.
Barbra is speaking to “Hollywood values” here, which are essentially Talmudic in origin, and easily researched.
Although goodness knows why she would open her mouth only to insert both feet. Her image isn’t helped by the pontificating.
