Scout Willis, 23, prefers wearing sheer clothing since she launched her protest against Instagram. She was furious when Instagram ejected her after she posted a topless photo. She protested by walking around NYC topless and lecturing on how backward Instagram is. Scout pointed out that up to the 1930’s MEN were banned from going topless on the beach. (We didn’t realize that!) Male protesters were arrested over and over in the early 30’s until 1936 when bare chests were finally accepted. She wants women to have equal rights. She DOES have a point.

I don’t think mainstream women are worrying about whether they can go topless in public, Or whether they can post topless pictures on Instagram. This is a non-issue.
If her mother’s foundation is still up and running (the one she started with Ashton Kutcher to try to bring awareness to the issue of children sold into sex slavery), that seems like a much better way to spend her time and is truly a social problem.
