The critics have spoken and the general consensus is that the series finale of And Just Like That was a flop. Although the finale drew big ratings, most everyone who critiqued the show seemed to think the ending was disappointing. Although she’s playing it off as no big deal, this IS NOT the legacy Sarah Jessica Parker hoped to leave – so she has a plan. Sarah saved almost every outfit she wore on AJLT and also on the series that launched it, Sex and the City, and now she’s planning to unload some of the garments by hosting a charity auction to raise money for women’s causes. Although she’s publicly playing it cool, according to my source, behind closed doors Sarah is CRUSHED at the reaction to the final episode and wants something good to come out of the show – hence a charity auction.

I agree with Janet on the legacy issue. This was her life work however esoteric.
I’m totally surprised that there isn’t a special Met museum exhibit being planned for all of the garments. To me, that would be the ultimate power play.
