Love this photo of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga embracing Sam Elliott at Sam’s hand and footprint ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame IN THE RAIN. Turns out Sam is quite a popular guy – he and his wife Katharine Ross attended the Golden Globes last night, but the table of A Star is Born participants were disappointed- lots of nominations, but only one win for Best Song. Nevertheless, Bradley and Gaga braved the elements today, as did a number of celebs, to praise Sam and give him a hug on Hollywood Blvd.

Awww–congrats to Sam, it’s a well-deserved honor.
And we love this pic, too, though Gaga looks like an awkwardly placed mannequin–intruding on a private moment.
As for her GG loss, we wonder if she will fare as poorly at the Oscars?
We noted that the HFPA FINALLY upgraded their award; it no longer looks like a bowling trophy from the Greater Cleveland Regional Championships! 😀
As for the broadcast–which we didn’t watch, the FLU SHOT propaganda struck a new LOW for this fiasco. What a strange thing to even conceive of, let alone execute. 🙁
