RICHARD GERE AND HIS LEADING LADY

Talk about type casting.  Richard Gere is currently on location in New York filming Asymmetry- which is based on the acclaimed book of the same name by Lisa Halliday. It’s an unusual love story described as “emotional, insightful, and really funny.”  Gere plays a 70 year old successful author who falls in love with a young editorial assistant played by Diana Silvers. The age difference is something Richard knows a lot about – in real life he’s 76 and his wife is 43. The movie examines the ups and downs of this romantic situation.

Then there’s Stallone, vital, creative and sexy at what, 80?

Gross. Pure male fantasy that they’re still appealing to young women and it needs to stop. Let young women be.

Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt is living the dream. She’s in her twenties married to an Eighty year old I believe. They order the seniors special from Red Lobster every Friday afternoon just to spice it up.

      Does Karoline Leavitt do diapers?

Richard Gere is way past his prime. Even in Pretty Woman, he was 40 and Julia Roberts was 21. I never understood his appeal. I don’t think he’s that attractive.

  5. Brijitte Founda

It’s usually creeps like Woody Allen that write and produce these Male fantasies. Even Trump said he would date his daughter Ivanka in a vile statement

Pass. So over these stories about old men falling in love with young women. If the story was from her perspective, why on earth she’s interested in the old guy, maybe.

But this story is played out.

Such a good point. No interest whatsoever. He needs to pick better scripts or go behind the camera, or retire.

  7. Alisssa Son- Japan

Gere looks one step removed from the pearly gates, not like the voracious lover a young woman needs and desires. What is wrong with Hollywood?
