Rebecca Gayheart quietly ended her May/December romance with Hard Rock Cafe founder, Peter Morton, just weeks before her estranged husband Eric Dane passed away. According to my source, Rebecca saw the decline in Eric and realized the fragility of life and came to the tough conclusion that her heart just wasn’t into the romance with Peter (there is a HUGE age difference). They parted on friendly terms, and Peter has offered his support to Rebecca as a friend, but as of now, their once promising romance is a thing of the past. Interestingly enough, Peter’s friends are now trying to fix him up with a more age appropriate woman.
