Patrick Swayze takes all those inaccurate and exaggerated media reports about his declining health to heart, and that’s painful to imagine. Early last year when The Enquirer reported he had “weeks to live,” Patrick went out of his way to prove them wrong. Yesterday a Florida radio station (both stations under suspicion, deny it) started the rumor that Patrick had died and it was picked up on Twitter. Even Wikipedia reportedly amended Patrick’s page temporarily. Swayze was so incensed he released this recent photo with his wife, indicating he is not bedridden, as assumed. It’s a dilemma – ill celebrities DO deserve some privacy, but they ARE famous, and fans and gossip readers continue to devour photos and information about them.
