The Project Runway star spent over an hour trying on shoes, including the soft boots next to her. She ended up buying six pairs, so the salesman was happy.
Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler has a knack for picking the wrong guys. Her marriage to her older manager A.J. Discala barely lasted three years and months later she started dating another older man- shifty New York club boss Scott Sartiano. Scott used to date Ashley Olsen and has been linked to Lindsay Lohan. (He likes ’em young and famous.) Jamie-Lynn and Scott were in Sundance at the American Eagle party when they decided to leave and said goodnight to friends. They were walking toward the exit of the VIP area when Scott’s eye was caught by a knockout blonde who had just arrived. (She was described as an Eva Mendes lookalike.) He stopped DEAD in his tracks as Jamie was pulling him toward the door. “I don’t think I want to leave yet” he said, still STARING at the girl. Jamie couldn’t help but notice his ogling, and she insisted “Come ON!” but Scott refused to budge. “Let’s stay awhile.” The turmoil attracted an audience as Jamie got more and more upset and hissed at Scott under her breath, trying to break the hypnotic spell he was under. Finally she managed to snap him out of it and drag him away but not before she was publicly embarrassed. We bet Ashley Olsen doesn’t look back too fondly at her romance with this guy.

Boyish former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez (right) and her lookalike unidentified companion MIGHT be a couple or they might not. Michele was formerly linked with Kristanna Loken, who is openly bisexual, and dropped hints that she and Michelle were an item. Later they both denied everything. These two shopped and had lunch at Fred Segal the other day and seem to have a lot in common, including the noteworthy resemblence.

Somebody please tell us how many hours Lindsay Lohan has actually spent IN rehab. Here she is on Sunday afternoon shopping on Rodeo Drive headed for Dior. With a man’s coat on her head. She MAY be in the company of a minder from rehab. Footnote: Someone who looks a lot like Lindsay has been seen more than once socializing late at night at Winston’s bar in West Hollywood. Does that rehab have a lockdown or curfew? We wonder if Lindsay could pull THAT off..
A no-frills fashion day for Jessica Alba as she is caught leaving the medical towers at Cedars- Sinai on Friday. She’s wearing a big black wintery scarf and a summery tie dye tank top with tinted aviators. Some people are so beautiful they can make ANYTHING work.

Here she is, giddy with power, flashing her credentials while shopping on Robertson Blvd. Perhaps she’s hoping that the cop connection will get her a “professional discount.” Note the guy with the hole in his pants carrying her handbag.
P. Diddy and a few buddies were upstairs in the VIP room at Tao in Sundance when he spotted a sexy girl down in the middle of the crowded dancefloor having a wonderful time. Diddy pointed her out to his companion and sent the guy down to get her. The friend obediently brought her upstairs and introduced her to Diddy. Apparently he wasn’t impressed with her up close, because Diddy said hello, looked her over, and turned his attention elsewhere. Feeling rejected, the girl stood alone by the stairs, looking unhappy and unsure of what to do. Just in time, Nelly arrived with Eddie Murphy. Nelly eyed the girl and immediately chatted her up – they spent the rest of the evening together. Good things DO happen!
We predicted this from day one. Victoria Beckham is starting to influence Katie Holmes when it comes to WEIGHT. Katie is not a size zero – she’s a nicely proportioned slim girl. But whenever she’s photographed next to narrow Posh, she looks like a Clydesdale. It’s enough to make a girl self conscious! Katie can’t help but feel extra large next to her svelte friend and it’s getting to her. Ms Cruise is doing everything she can to appear smaller and it started with the body shaper peeking out above.. She was caught wearing a slimming foundation garment to control those hips. This is only the FIRST inevitable step. A vegetable diet CANNOT be far behind.
Another mini flip-out for Paula Abdul at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Pasadena last week. She was at the hotel to do press for American Idol and on the way out she paused to sign autographs for fans. One male fan remarked “Gee – you smell great! What IS that perfume?” Paula dropped everything and backed away, wide eyed, gasping “Someone PAID you to say that, DIDN’T they?” The guy shrugged “No, I just happen to know a lot about fragrance!” “IT’S MY NEW PERFUME!” she squealed, jumping UP and DOWN and maniacally flailing her arms about. She pulled a bottle out of her purse “This is a prototype- it’s not on the market yet! Do you really like it?” Like a hurricane, she started spritzing everyone in sight , babbling loudly about what she should name the fragrance- “Idol?” Heads turned as Paula pounced and sprayed startled guests walking in and out of the hotel. Observers were taken aback by her noisy histrionics, and when she finally left, the hotel lobby REEKED. Fortunately, most people found the scent pleasant.
Dust off your motorcycle jackets, the eighties are BACK! We just got word from our Canadian spy that it’s official: Sting is back together with The Police for a concert tour. So far there are eighty dates planned in North America and the UK. Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland have been wanting this to happen for awhile, but they thought Sting would never agree. Maybe the fact that it’s the 30th anniversary of their first hit Roxanne, softened up Sting. Or maybe he was impressed with the success of The Rolling Stones and U2 tours. Whatever -this will be the first time the band has played in concert since 1984.
