Nick Reiner needs money – especially now that a judge has blocked him from accessing his $1.5 million trust fund. According to an insider, Nick has been reaching out to friends of his parents (who he is accused of murdering) and begging for help. At this point Nick realizes that it’s unlikely anyone will pay the bill for his legal representation, so he’s just asking for small handouts so he can purchase the things he needs from the jail commissary. My source says a few of the more sympathetic friends have added small amounts to his jail account , but he’s still desperate for more money for necessities.

I read that Annie Reiner, Rob’s sister, has been very sympathetic to Nick. She may be one of the primary folks helping him buy stuff from the commissary. But I doubt she has the kind of money Nick needs. I also read that Nick was a very, very troubled child. Can you give us any insight into this, Janet? 🙂

Yes, it was horrific what he did to his parents, BUT he is mentally ill. I can’t believe he is considered competent to stand trail, even if he has lucid moments. He should just be committed, sadly. Who was advising him to plead guilty.
